Swipe Ball: Global Rankings Terms of Service

Effective Date: 2026-10-12 · Version: 2026-10-12

These Terms of Service govern the use of the mobile game Swipe Ball: Global Rankings (the “Service”) provided by Design Future Games (the “Developer”) and set forth the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between users and the Developer.

For more information regarding the processing of personal information, please review the Privacy Policy .

Article 1. Application and Acceptance

By downloading, installing, accessing, launching, using, or purchasing products within the Service, the user is deemed to have agreed to all provisions of these Terms.

If the user does not agree to these Terms, the user must stop installing, using, and making purchases within the Service and delete the application.

The user acknowledges that the Service is provided as a digital content service on an “as is” basis and depends significantly on network conditions, device environments, operating systems, Google Play, Google Play Games, Google Play Billing, Google AdMob, and other third-party platforms and services. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the user expressly agrees that the Developer's liability may be limited accordingly.

Article 2. Definitions

  • “User” means any person who uses the Service in accordance with these Terms.
  • “Integrated Services” means Google Play Games, Google Play Billing, Google AdMob, and other third-party services, SDKs, platforms, or networks related to providing the Service.
  • “In-App Products” means digital products, features, ad-removal products, subscription products, or other paid content that may be purchased through Google Play Billing within the Service.
  • “Content” means all elements within the Service, including game information, images, text, sounds, rankings, records, paid products, advertisements, and other materials.

Article 3. Service Features

The Service is a game service available on mobile devices, and the Developer may include some or all of the following features.

  • Google Play Games sign-in
  • Google AdMob advertisements
  • In-app purchases through Google Play Billing
  • Other gameplay, records, settings, presentation, and operational features

Article 4. Google Play Games Sign-In

Google Play Games sign-in may be provided as an optional feature. If a user uses this feature, Google's policies, terms, account status, authentication methods, and platform restrictions may also apply.

The Developer is not responsible for problems arising from failures, policy changes, sign-in failures, account restrictions, feature reductions, or discontinuation of Google Play Games itself.

Article 5. In-App Purchases and Refunds

In-App Products within the Service are generally processed exclusively through Google Play Billing.

Prices, currency, taxes, payment approval or rejection, withdrawal rights, refunds, cancellations, subscription cancellation, transaction history, purchase status, payment restrictions, and other payment-related matters are subject to the policies and procedures of Google Play and the applicable payment provider.

Refund requests must generally be submitted by the user through the official procedures provided by Google Play. The Developer does not separately provide direct refunds, cash reimbursements, individual payment cancellations, or discretionary compensation outside of Google Play.

The Developer does not directly collect or store payment information such as payment instrument details, credit card information, or billing information. Except for limited verification of whether a purchase has been applied or can be technically restored, the Developer does not determine payment approval, refund approval, refund timing, refund amounts, or refund eligibility.

Non-consumable products or active subscriptions may be restored depending on the same Google account, store status, purchase status, and platform policies. Consumable products may not be restorable after they have been used or granted.

If applicable laws or platform policies impose direct obligations on the Developer, the Developer will comply with such obligations to the extent required.

Article 6. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The Service may include Google AdMob advertisements and other third-party service elements.

Whether advertisements are displayed, their frequency and format, whether they are personalized, and whether rewarded advertisements are available may vary depending on the user's country, device environment, network conditions, user settings, consent status, advertising network conditions, and platform policies.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer is not responsible for third-party advertisements, external links, advertising networks, platform outages, failure to display advertisements, ad-loading failures, missing rewarded-ad rewards, advertisement content itself, or errors or interruptions of third-party services.

Article 7. Data Storage and Processing

The Developer does not operate the Service on the assumption that users' personal information will be continuously stored in an independent membership database or on the Developer's own servers.

During use of the Service, certain game progress information, settings, or temporary data may be stored locally on the user's device.

Integrated Services such as Google Play Games, Google Play Billing, and Google AdMob may process relevant information according to their own policies and technical requirements. Further details are subject to the applicable third-party policies and the Developer's Privacy Policy.

The Service generally does not require separate sensitive device permissions. However, notices or consent procedures may be displayed where required by the operating system, app store, Integrated Services, or applicable laws.

Article 8. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct

Users must not engage in any of the following activities.

  • Manipulating game results through abnormal methods, including macros, hacking, memory modification, exploit abuse, or automated tools.
  • Fraudulently manipulating rankings, records, rewards, payments, advertisement impressions, or reward systems.
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, modifying, tampering with, illegally copying, or distributing the application without authorization.
  • Abusing payment cancellations, making fraudulent payments, abusing refund systems, or circumventing platform policies.
  • Violating applicable laws, public order and morals, platform policies, or these Terms.

Article 9. Intellectual Property Rights

Copyrights, trademarks, design rights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Service and its Content belong to the Developer or the applicable lawful rights holder.

Without the Developer's prior written consent, users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, rent, transmit, publicly communicate, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the Service or its Content.

Article 10. Modification, Suspension, and Termination of the Service

The Developer may, at any time, modify, revise, restrict, suspend, terminate, delete, or restructure all or part of the Service when necessary for operational, technical, security, legal, or policy-related reasons.

As part of such changes, game rules, difficulty, balance, user interface, presentation, advertising methods, In-App Product composition, leaderboards, sign-in features, save-data compatibility, events, reward systems, or other Content may be changed or removed.

The Developer will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice where practical. However, changes may be made without prior notice where necessary for urgent security responses, error correction, compliance with external platform policies, service outage responses, or other unavoidable circumstances.

The user acknowledges and agrees in advance that all or part of the Service may be modified, restricted, suspended, or terminated. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the Developer is not responsible for loss of expected benefits, data changes, loss of game progress, or inability to use certain features resulting from such actions.

Article 11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

The Developer makes no express or implied warranty that the Service will always be complete, uninterrupted, error-free, suitable for a particular purpose, satisfy user expectations, guarantee any particular result, or operate identically on all devices.

The Developer does not warrant against problems caused by network conditions, carrier issues, operating system updates, device manufacturer environments, account status, platform policy changes, advertising network conditions, Google Play, or changes, delays, or interruptions in other third-party services.

Article 12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer will not be liable for indirect, special, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, loss of expected benefits, business losses, or emotional distress arising from or related to the use or inability to use the Service.

In particular, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer is not responsible for damages arising from any of the following.

  • User fault, device loss, poor account management, password management failure, or user negligence.
  • Network failures, carrier issues, operating system errors, device manufacturer issues, or device performance limitations.
  • Failures, policy changes, payment failures, refund processing, account restrictions, or service discontinuation involving Google Play, Google Play Games, Google Play Billing, Google AdMob, or other third-party platforms.
  • Loss of data caused by application deletion, device changes, account mismatches, local data resets, reinstallation, cache deletion, or user actions.
  • Natural disasters, power outages, hacking, malware, denial-of-service attacks, government actions, or other force majeure events.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer's total liability for damages is limited to the amount actually paid by the user for the Service during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If the user made no paid purchase during that period, the monetary liability cap will be KRW 0, except where applicable law does not permit such limitation or exclusion.

This Article does not apply to damages caused by the Developer's willful misconduct or gross negligence, or to liabilities that may not be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Article 13. Restrictions and Enforcement Measures

If the Developer reasonably determines that a user has violated, or is likely to violate, these Terms, applicable laws, or platform policies, the Developer may restrict access to the Service without prior notice.

Where necessary, the Developer may take measures including restricting sign-in functions, resetting records, removing users from rankings, restricting advertisement rewards, restricting In-App Product functionality, deleting some or all data, blocking accounts, or suspending use of the Service.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the Developer is not obligated to provide separate compensation, refunds, or damages in connection with such measures.

Article 14. User Indemnification and Responsibility

If the Developer incurs complaints, claims, disputes, investigations, damages, costs, or liabilities due to the user's violation of law, violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights, fraudulent payment, refund abuse, account theft, abnormal use, or other fault attributable to the user, the user must resolve such matters at their own responsibility and expense.

In such cases, the user must compensate the Developer for direct damages, indirect damages, response costs, reasonable legal expenses, and other related costs to the extent permitted by law.

Article 15. Use by Minors

Minors must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian before using the Service or making purchases.

If a minor makes a purchase without the consent of a parent or legal guardian, cancellation or refund eligibility may be determined according to applicable laws and platform policies. Such procedures generally follow Google Play policies and procedures.

Article 16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.

If a dispute arises in connection with the Service, the parties will first make good-faith efforts to resolve the matter through consultation.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through consultation, the Seoul Central District Court will have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance to the extent permitted by applicable law. However, where applicable mandatory law requires another jurisdiction, such law will prevail.
